1 pound (455 g) leanest ground beef
2 tablespoons (32 g) tomato paste
2 tablespoons (32 g) dill pickle relish
1 1/2 tablespoons (23 g) Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon (7 g) onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
Preheat the grill to medium-high.
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix thoroughly, but gently. Do not overhandle beef or your burgers will be tough. Form into 6 mini-patties and using your thumb, gently indent each patty in the middle to ensure more even cooking. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes, flip, and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, or to desired doneness.
