1 package (8 ounces, or 225 g) Neufchâtel cheese, slightly softened (or 1/3 reduced-fat cream cheese)

1 cup (100 g) confectioners’ sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3/4 teaspoon orange or lemon zest, optional

Cooking Instructions:

In a mixer, beat together the Neufchâtel, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and zest until very smooth. Use or store in the refrigerator.
