1 1/2 cups (355 ml) milk (low-fat cow’s, unsweetened chocolate almond, or soy milk)
1/2 cup (120 ml) light coconut milk (or omit and use 2 cups, or 475 ml, milk)
2 1/2 tablespoons (35 g) raw cacao powder (or 1 1/2 tablespoons, or 21 g, cocoa powder)
2 scoops unsweetened, undenatured whey protein powder
2 frozen bananas
2 to 4 ice cubes, optional
In a powerful blender, add all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Use 2 to 4 ice cubes (or freeze the coconut milk in an ice cube tray) for a frostier milkshake consistency.
